| Vietnam province hosts in’l photo exhibition |
The sixth international photo exhibition in Vietnam opened in the northern province of Phu Tho on March 26 in celebration of the Hung King Temple Festival, which celebrates the half-legendary first kings of Vietnam.
The exhibition began in the provincial capital of Viet Tri, four days before the festival begins on Friday, newswire Vietnamplus reported today.
Hung King holiday celebrations are centered in Phu Tho, the supposed homeland of Vietnam's first rulers.
Co-held by the Vietnam Association of Photography Artists and the province’s Association of Arts and Literature, the photo event showcases 542 photos by 354 photographers from 38 countries and territories worldwide.
The photos were selected from 10,612 works submitted by 1,602 photographers from 55 countries and territories throughout the world.
